About Us

Melissa has been self employed since 2005 and is the former owner of Kruger and Clary, CPAs. She decided to branch out and form Key2 Accounting in 2013 so she could focus on helping businesses with their accounting, payroll and tax needs.

Melissa graduated from Colorado State University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has been a CPA since 2000. She is Certified in QuickBooks online. She specializes in QuickBooks, Business Consulting, Accounting and Income Tax Preparation and Planning.

In 2009, Melissa was on the list of Women of Influence and Forty under 40, in the Northern Colorado Business Report. In 2011 she won firm of the year with the accountants group PASBA. The Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce awarded her young professional of the year in 2012.

Myriah joined the firm in 2012 as a staff accountant and became part-owner in 2015.

Myriah focuses on sales tax, business accounting and income tax planning and preparation. She is Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.

Myriah graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Her previous experience includes completing audits of financial statements for privately held companies, not for profit entities, and employee benefit plans before joining the Key2 Accounting Fort Collins CPAs staff. Her interests include gardening, canning, knitting, and sewing.

Miranda joined the team of Fort Collins accountants at Payroll Vault in 2015 as a payroll specialist. She has since moved into a part owner role and oversees the payroll department. Miranda is currently a Certified Payroll Processor. She received her Associates in Accounting from Front Range Community College in 2014 and has several years of payroll and bookkeeping experience. When Miranda is not working with numbers she enjoys relaxing on long motorcycle trips or curled up with a book and her pets.

Julie joined the team in 2023.  She took on the role of payroll specialist and general excise processor.  Julie is extremely detailed regarding her work and diligent about making sure she gets her clients the information they need.

She is originally from Texas and her husband’s military career brought her and her family to Hawaii in June of 2021.

Her previous career was as a registered dental assistant, where she enjoyed patient care and interaction.

Julie enjoys spending time with family, friends and her new puppy.  Her interests include being outdoors, near the ocean and seeking adventure on the Hawaiian islands.

Emily joined the team in 2020 and has brought with her a wonderful vigor, strength, resilience and a great work ethic. A former Patent Paralegal and Notary Public, Emily has seamlessly transitioned into our tax and accounting world.  An avid sports enthusiast and an athlete herself, Emily enjoys playing volley ball and kickball and is a die hard Broncos fan!

Nichole joined the firm in 2021. She specializes in QuickBooks, Accounting, Income Tax Preparation and Tax Planning, Franchise tax return, Multi-State returns and Sales tax. She has worked in large and small CPA firms where she has gained experience in a variety of business industries.

Nichole graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and from University of Northern Colorado in 2000 with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Nichole has been a CPA since 2009 and is licensed in Colorado and Texas. She loves to travel, spending time with her family and fur babies, and enjoys bringing out her creativity in crafting.

Ana originally joined Key2 Accounting as an intern in 2013 and moved up to a Staff Accountant. She attended Regis University to obtain a Bachelors in Accounting in 2015. After a couple years away from the firm she has returned in January 2021 and will be working on tax returns and bookkeeping. When not working, Ana is either running after her 2 kids on the family’s cattle ranch or curling up to watch a movie or read a book.

Ashlee joined our team in 2021 and has been a Payroll Professional since 2015. She takes pride in her work and her professionalism. She graduated from Passaic County Community College in 2014, with an Associates Degree in Human Services. Ashlee and her family moved to Colorado from New Jersey in 2017. In her spare time, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being outdoors and traveling.

Stephanie joined the accounting staff in 2021 and has brought her passion for learning and aim for excellence to the team. New to the accounting and tax field, she has enjoyed being able to assist the team and grow her financing knowledge. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys painting, reading, traveling, and learning new languages.
